Gripping, darkly clever, but a little odd in places.

What Fury Brings is definitely a unique read. I have to give full credit to the author for coming up with such a bold and outside-the-box concept. There were plenty of moments that genuinely had me on edge, and surprisingly, a few bits of dark humour that actually made me laugh. It’s intense, unpredictable and keeps you turning the pages just to see what could possibly happen next.

That said, there were times when things felt a little strange or disjointed, and I wasn’t always sure what to make of certain scenes or character choices. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did pull me out of the story now and again.

Overall, I did enjoy it. It’s clever, daring and different, and I appreciate a book that takes risks. If you’re looking for something gripping and a bit twisted with a fresh idea behind it, this is worth a read.
