Juliette has a lethal touch and has not been touched in 264 days. Locked away by The Reestablishment, she is suddenly offered a choice: be a weapon, or be a warrior.
It is lyrical, feverish and completely unlike anything else on my shelf. The crossed-out lines alone make it worth talking about, and the slow burn is one of the best in YA fantasy romance.

- Amy picks one book a month from the shelf — usually a mix of romantasy, contemporary romance and thriller across the year — and announces it at the start of the month.
- Do I have to buy the book from you?
- Not at all. Read it however you like — library, e-book, audiobook or your own copy. Buying through the shop just supports the club.
- When does the discussion happen?
- The thread opens with the pick and stays open all month, so you can join whenever you finish. Spoiler-heavy posts are flagged so nobody gets caught out.
- Will I be reminded when a new discussion starts?
