If Twisted Love hooked me, Twisted Games is the one I would reread tomorrow. Rhys Larsen is the stoic bodyguard with an unbreakable code, Bridget von Ascheberg is a princess with a spine of steel, and the forbidden line between them is drawn so clearly that every small crossing feels enormous.
What works
- Restraint. The longing does more work than any grand gesture.
- Bridget is not a decorative royal — her duty is a real, costly thing.
- Rhys is protective without being controlling, which is a hard balance to strike.
