Too Slow and Basic for Me, But Might Suit Younger Readers

I really wanted to enjoy Love at First Knight but it just didn’t work for me. The pacing was incredibly slow. I kept waiting for something to happen, but the story dragged and never really picked up. I eventually gave up and didn’t finish it.

The writing felt very basic and lacked the kind of depth or emotional pull I usually look for in a romance.

That said, I could see how it might work better as a light-hearted, easy read for a younger audience. Maybe more suited for teens or readers just getting into romance novels

Just not for me—too boring, too slow, and not engaging enough to hold my attention.
