ABSOLUTELY JAW-DROPPING

This book completely consumed me from the very first page and didn’t let go until long after I finished it! Delia Owens has crafted something truly extraordinary here.

The ending? OH MY GOODNESS I did NOT see that coming AT ALL. It completely threw me off in the most incredible way possible. I literally had to put the book down and just sit there processing what had just happened.

Devastating and beautiful doesn’t even begin to cover it. It’s the kind of ending that stays with you for weeks afterward!

What struck me most was how REAL everything felt. Kya’s story, her connection to the marsh, the way loneliness and resilience intertwined throughout her life. It all felt so authentic and raw.

Owens doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of abandonment and survival, but she balances it with such gorgeous descriptions of nature that you can practically smell the salt air and feel the mud between your toes!

The mystery element kept me guessing right until that final, heart-stopping revelation. The way everything came together was both shocking and somehow perfectly inevitable.

This isn’t just a book. It’s an experience. Beautiful, heartbreaking, and utterly unforgettable.

Highly recommend to anyone who loves stories that will completely wreck you in the best possible way!
