Breathtaking. Honest. Powerful.

Colleen Hoover did something truly special with this series. She handled deeply sensitive topics; love, trauma, abuse, and healing with such raw realism and emotional depth. It stayed with me long after I turned the last page.

Reading *It Ends With Us* felt like being inside someone’s heart—messy, vulnerable, resilient. The way Hoover portrayed difficult relationships without romanticizing them, and showed the strength it takes to break a cycle instead of staying in one, was nothing short of brave.

I devoured these books with a lump in my throat and tears more than once. Lily’s journey was painful, inspiring, and incredibly human.

That said, I didn’t find the movie adaptation nearly as impactful. It missed a lot of the emotional nuance that made the books unforgettable. The power of this story is in the quiet moments, the internal battles and I just don’t think the screen fully captured that.

Still, this series remains a favorite and one I’ll always recommend, with a box of tissues.
