# About Amy and Bella

Amy has been reading since she was a child, and Bella Bugs Books grew out of that habit: a review site first, and a small bookish gift shop second. Bella is her black and white border collie and the shop's mascot — a paw print goes on every handwritten note.

## Editorial policy
- Every book recommended has been read in full by Amy
- No sponsorships and no paid placements
- A gifted or ARC copy never buys a positive rating, and ratings are not changed on request
- Plot spoilers are hidden behind an explicit toggle
- Star ratings are out of 5, with half stars
